About Me
Growing up, I loved to imagine, draw, and build. I noticed early on that the most memorable movies were set in traditionally designed homes, neighborhoods, and cities. As I traveled and experienced great architecture firsthand, I began forming my own ideas about what worked—and what truly served society.
I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Architecture from Andrews University, including study abroad in Europe and the Middle East. That experience was transformative—it revealed the science behind the art and gave me a solid foundation in traditional design and urbanism. I came away committed to using time-tested principles to improve how people experience the built world.
I gained valuable experience at three architecture firms, working on detailed construction documents for hospitality, commercial, civic, and residential projects. Wanting to see my values more directly reflected in the work, I expanded into construction management, carpentry, custom cabinetry, and real estate brokerage—all in service of bringing timeless design back to my home region.
Now, I’m returning to architecture and planning with a broader skill set and a deeper mission: to collaborate with like-minded professionals to create environments that inspire confidence, capability, and beauty. My diverse background helps me anticipate challenges and shape lasting solutions that bring joy to those who experience them. I’m committed to making a tangible, positive impact through enduring design.
